The mission of KDHX is to build community through media, with diverse and independent voices that enrich the perspectives of our audiences. We promote civic and cultural participation by providing the tools, technology, and training vital to informed, creative expression. 
KDHX is governed by a board of directors. Members serve a three year term and are elected by either the Annual or Associate Members or appointed by the board.
The board meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at KDHX Community Media, 3504 Magnolia Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63118.
