Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in the continuation and success of KDHX Community Media, and do everything from being on air to engineering audio to stuffing envelopes. In a given year, over 800 individuals volunteer at KDHX, bringing their diverse backgrounds and various levels of experience. And we are always looking for new, motivated participants.

If you are 18 or older and you want to become a KDHX volunteer, the place to start is our orientation. Participants will learn about the history of listener-supported radio, access television, community media, programming, governance, educational offerings and volunteer opportunities. Upon completion of the KDHX Orientation, students can become members and will be eligible to be trained to volunteer. Orientation is free, but reservations are required.

Sign up by entering your information on the right side of this page, by calling the Volunteer Hotline at (314) 827-6155 or clicking Call Me:

Enter YOUR name and phone number and Google will call you and then connect you to our volunteer hotline.
