Graphics and Design Internship

KDHX staff and management are dedicated to the facilitation of volunteer training and production, but our broadcast channels and business offices require consistent high-quality visual graphics, marketing and PR materials. Graphics and design interns assist in designing and producing visual communications for KDHX Radio and .ORG

Location: KDHX Radio (3504 Magnolia)

Supervised by: Chris Ward, Director of Marketing and Communications

Tasks Performed:

  • General KDHX branding collateral - posters, flyers, print ads
  • Event collateral for annual and monthly events - posters, flyers, print ads, postcards, etc
  • Show-related graphic design - Logos and collateral for shows such as Great American Music, Sonic IDs, etc
  • Packaging design for cd / dvd releases
  • T-shirt design
  • Other duties as assigned

Time Commitment:10-15 Hours per week, 200 hour per semester (or as specified by your school's curriculum).

Qualifications: Strong graphics and design skills, proficiency in Adobe softwares (Photoshop, Ilustrator, Pagemaker, etc.), strong communication and 'people' skills, access to computer and required design tools (KDHX does not own graphics software licences).
