Marketing Internship

KDHX Staff and Management are dedicated to the facilitation of volunteer training and production, but our broadcast channels and radio station require consistent high-quality visual graphics, marketing, and PR materials. Marketing interns are involved in general assistance in designing and producing visual communications for KDHX Radio, TV, and .ORG

Location:KDHX Radio (3504 Magnolia)

Supervised by: Nico Leone, Radio Station Manager

Task Performed:

  • Assist in development of KDHX annual marketing plan
  • Assist in development and implementation of event-specific marketing plans
  • Coordinate design, printing, and distribution of event collateral for annual and monthly events, including posters, flyers, print ads, postcards, etc
  • Maintain press list
  • Draft press releases
  • Coordinate street and event marketing teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Time Commitment:10-15 Hours per week, 200 hour per semester (or as specified by your school's curriculum).

Qualifications: Strong marketing background, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication and 'people' skills.
