The mission of KDHX is to build community through media, with diverse and independent voices that enrich the perspectives of our audiences. We promote civic and cultural participation by providing the tools, technology, and training vital to informed, creative expression.
Several years ago, the State of Missouri passed state-wide video provider legislation that sunset all existing cable agreements on December 31, 2011. That meant that local cable and video providers are no longer required to provide funding or channels for public and community access television operations. Double Helix stopped providing these services at that time.
