Did you know that all KDHX DJs are volunteers? We want to thank the following hosts for all their hard work over the years, as their lives and schedules take them in different directions.

Here are the shows we will miss:

  • The Roots Music Show with Kevin Merello, early Wed. 1-3 a.m.
  • Afternoon Delight with Jeff Hess, Wed. 12-2 p.m.: Jeff's show has moved to Thursday nights (see schedule below)
  • Nomadic Reverie with Grace, Thurs. 7-9 p.m.
  • Voices in the Dark with Al Becker, Sun. 9-10:30 p.m.

Here are the changes you will find, which began December 28, 2010 (all times are Central):

Late Tuesday / Early Wednesday

11 p.m.-1 a.m.: Ital Rhythms with Ital-K (previous split co-host of Friday's Midnite Rockers)

1-3am: The Night Shift with Mr. Roots and Sista Nancy

Wednesday

12-2 p.m.: Drifter's Escape with Mark (has subbed for Afternoon Delight many times)

Thursday

7-9 p.m.: The Space Parlour with Nick (moved from 9-11 p.m.)

9-11 p.m.: The Thursday Night Happening with Jeff Hess (formerly of Afternoon Delight)

11 p.m.-1 a.m.: Hindsight with Matt

Friday

11 p.m.-1 a.m.: It's Contagious with Erica Lewis (formerly Midnite Rockers, Erica will continue in this slot every week)

Sunday

All evening shows which were previously 1.5 hours have extended to 2 hours:

6-8 p.m.: Chicken Shack Alley with Bruce B & Rich Barta

8-10 p.m.: Nothin' But the Blues with Ron Edwards

10 p.m.-12 a.m.: All Soul, No Borders with Josh

Don't forget -- you don't have to miss your favorite show just because it moved! KDHX streams all of its programs online for 2 weeks, so you can check out the past two shows for any program by going to the KDHX.org show page and clicking on "LISTEN."
