Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in the continuation and success of KDHX Community Media, and do everything from being on air to engineering audio to stuffing envelopes. In a given year, over 800 individuals volunteer at KDHX, bringing their diverse backgrounds and various levels of experience. And we are always looking for new, motivated participants.

If you are 18 or older and you want to become a KDHX volunteer, the place to start is our orientation. Participants will learn about the history of listener-supported radio, programming, governance, educational offerings and volunteer opportunities.  Orientation is free, but reservations are required.

Orientations are currently held twice a month, on one weekday evening and one weekend day. To register, just fill out this handy form, or email Scott at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
