KDHX Media Sponsorship Event Profile: The Eighth Annual Blues at the Arch Festival

KDHX is proud to be a media sponsor for the Gateway Arch Park Foundation's eighth annual Blues at the Arch presented by the Missouri Division of Tourism.

This popular end-of-summer celebration pays tribute to St. Louis’ storied blues history and showcases the talents of national and local artists. Produced in partnership with the National Blues Museum and the National Park Service, this free festival is the only one of its kind to take place on national park grounds.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us at the North Gateway of Gateway Arch National Park. The Festival will be from Friday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug. 12, with an incredible Blues Brunch (ticketed) on Sunday, Aug. 13 to cap off the weekend.

Organization Profile: Gateway Arch Park Foundation 

Gateway Arch Park Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit conservancy and the official philanthropic partner of Gateway Arch National Park and its surrounding areas in Downtown St. Louis.

The Foundation was initially formed in 2009 as part of the public-private partnership to fund and coordinate the development of the CityArchRiver Project, which transformed and enhanced the Arch experience for everyone. Today, we collaborate with partners to operate and maintain these improvements and continue to innovate.

As a conservancy, we provide funding for the park’s ongoing conservation and preservation, as well as educational opportunities for students, educators and the public.

We also focus on hosting, facilitating and promoting events on the grounds to activate these reimagined spaces. In so doing, we spotlight unique local businesses and entrepreneurs who serve as event vendors, and we invite the entire region to join us in invigorating the jewel of St. Louis and making the Gateway Arch a destination of choice for generations to come.
