KDHX Community Advisory Board
Community Advisory Board Statement of Purpose:
The KDHX Community Advisory Board (CAB) is comprised of individuals from the St. Louis region who are involved in nonprofits, the business sector, and more. The Community Advisory Board is intended to provide an effective vehicle for community input about KDHX’s radio programming, community connection, and impact on the community from the station’s goals and priorities listed in the KDHX Strategic Plan.
From the Corporation for Public Broadcasting:
The Community Advisory Board’s role is solely advisory in nature. By Federal Communications Commission regulations, the CAB has no authority to exercise any control over the daily management or operation of the station.
Membership:
The Community Advisory Board will be made up of members who are representative of the cultural, educational, civic, ethnic, geographic, and economic diversity of the KDHX listening area. Members are recruited from the community.
Terms of Service:
Community Advisory Board terms are 1 year. Members can self-renew for 2 additional 1-year terms for a total service of 3 years.
Meetings:
The KDHX Community Advisory Board will meet two to three times per year. Meetings will be moderated by KDHX staff. The staff moderator will compile an agenda that will drive discussion for each meeting.
Open Meetings and Closed Sessions:
Meetings of the Community Advisory Board are open to the public.
Meeting Times and Location:
