Description

As part of the Kranzberg Exhibition Series 2012, Juan William Chavez expands upon his “Pruitt-Igoe Bee Sanctuary” project with work from a research trip to Europe, photos of the Beekeeping School in Paris and cave drawings from Valencia, Spain. This series of films, photographs, drawings and outdoor sculpture explores concerns surrounding urban abandonment and creative uses of city space.
