Description

This group of classical performers aspires to rejuvenate and refresh the experience of live music in intimate spaces for a 21st century audience. Their programs combine pieces that range from classic to contemporary, inluding work composed by living and lesser-known composers. This evening's performance features a variety of American composers from George Gershwin (1898-1937) to Mason Bates (b. 1977). The four artistic directors of the group include Jennifer Gartley, flute; Adrianne Honnold, saxophone; Dana Hotle, clarinet; and Laura Reycraft, viola. They will be joined by other accomplished musicians. Free tickets (limit 4 per person) for performances are available beginning the first of each month for the current month's performance. Tickets will be available at the Information Desk. All Art After 5 performances take place in Grigg Gallery. Limited Seating. For more details, visit www.slam.org or call 314-721-0072.
