Local faith leaders, public health officials and public interest advocates will host a Clean Air Health Fair to highlight the impact of climate change on public health and engage the community on the importance of taking federal action to find climate solutions.
The Clean Air Health Fair, hosted by the Greater Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, will feature speakers including the Rev. Earl Nance, Jr., of Greater Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, EPA Regional Administrator Karl Brooks, state Senator Joseph Keaveny and St. Louis County Assessor Jake Zimmerman, EPA Regional Administrator Karl Brooks and St. Louis County Assessor Jake Zimmerman, as well as local entertainment, booths offering asthma prevention information, and giveaways of free mattress covers to help children who are experiencing asthma symptoms.
