Categories:

Description

The St. Louis County Library and Shoeman Water Projects, a local non-profit that helps provide clean water to developing countries, are teaming up to collect gently used shoes. The collected shoes will be exported to places like Kenya, Haiti and South America where street vendors will sell the shoes. Funds from the resale will help Shoeman Water Projects purchase well–drilling rigs and water purification systems in countries lacking access to clean water.  Shoes can be dropped at any of the 20 St. Louis County Library branches.  314-994-3300
