Description

More than 100 glorious voices will perform at the Festival of African-American Spirituals Finale Concert. The free concert will be the culmination of a weekend of study by area singers to gain a greater appreciation of the African-American spiritual. The concert will feature a wide selection of spirituals performed by the Festival Choir directed Maestra D’ Walla Simmons-Burke, Director of Choral and Vocal Studies at Winston-Salem State University. Also performing will be the Legend Singers Choral Ensemble, Community Gospel Choir and other soloists and choirs.
