Description

As part of the Second Annual Greater St. Louis Humanities Festival, Cinema St. Louis and the Webster U. Film Series present a rare 35mm screening of Erich von Stoheim’s classic silent film “Greed” (1924), with an original score and live musical accompaniment by the Rats & People Motion Picture Orchestra.  The film will be introduced and discussed by former Chicago Reader film critic Jonathan Rosenbaum, author of the BFI Film Classics volume on “Greed.”
