Description

The Saint Louis Low Brass Collective presents renowned trombonist, composer and educator James E. (Jim) Pugh. Jim is the winner of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Virtuoso Award for Tenor Trombone. He toured extensively with both the Woody Herman and Chick Corea before he became the top recording artist in New York.

In addition to performing, Jim will talk about getting started in the business, touring, working as a recording artist, composing and teaching.
