Has a rock 'n' roll band ever been as mercurial and influential, as volatile and lyrical, as cursed and blessed as the Kinks?

Fueled by the songwriting of Ray Davies and the tension and passion of kinship and friendship, the band's music remains as visionary, fun, deep and insanely catchy as any sound that emerged from the British Invasion.

88.1 KDHX is proud to celebrate one of the greatest bands of all time with "Ev'rybody's Gonna Be Happy: A Tribute to the Kinks and KDHX Benefit." Ten St. Louis bands will perform the songs of the Kinks all night long.

When: Saturday, March 30. Doors 7 p.m. Show 8 p.m.

Where: Off Broadway Nightclub. 3509 Lemp. St. Louis.

How much: $10 and all proceeds benefit 88.1 KDHX. All ages event, with $3 surcharge for under 21 attendees. A limited number of reserved balcony seats will be available for $20.
