Description

St. Louis Declares Interdependence “Connected” Screening Party Series

Have you ever faked a restroom trip to check your email? Slept with your laptop? Or become so overwhelmed that you just unplugged from it all? In this funny, eye-opening, and inspiring film, Director Tiffany Shlain takes audiences on an exhilarating rollercoaster ride to discover what it means to be connected in the 21st century. From founding The Webby Awards to being a passionate advocate for The National Day of Unplugging, Shlain’s love/hate relationship with technology serves as the springboard for a thrilling exploration of modern life...and our interconnected future.

Openly Disruptive invites you to attend a special screening of the award-winning Sundance documentary, Connected: An Autoblogography about Love, Death & Technology, directed by Tiffany Shlain.

Attendees will get to hear from RallySTL project leaders who are using the Internet to connect to a global audience to make real life solutions to social problems in their neighborhood. You'll also be provided the tools and potential new partners to create your own projects which shows your interdependence to others.

Openly Disruptive will host the screening parties at Lab 1500, 6pm on March 18th, 19th, and 20th. Your donations will go directly to RallySTL projects. Refreshments will be provided by Schlafly Beer.

Seats are limited so reserve your ticket today!
