Expect the unexpected during Reset at the Pulitzer. Taking place during short periods between exhibitions, January 17-25, 2014, this unconventional series of programs opens the building for new encounters. Reset offers a broad spectrum of immersive and participatory experiences, providing new ways to engage with visual art, music, dance, film and performance in the Pulitzer gallery space.
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra performs the United States premiere of John Cage’s Thirty Pieces for Five Orchestras (1981) and Brett Dean’s Sketches for Siegbert (2011). St. Louis Symphony Director David Robertson conducts musicians positioned throughout the Pulitzer building for this performance. Admission is $20 for the general public and $10 for students. Tickets are available through the Powell Hall Box Office at 314.534.1700 or online at stlsymphony.org.
