Description

Any list of truly great St. Louis musicians would be incomplete without John Hartford. The songwriter, singer, multi-instrumentalist and riverboat pilot is one of the defining figures of American music. His contributions to country, folk, rock and old-time music go far beyond his well-known hits. Hartford's catalog and influence are as wide, deep and strong as the Mississippi River he loved and knew so well.

On Saturday, December 29, 88.1 KDHX presents Steam-Powered Soul: A Tribute to John Hartford, 75th Birthday Party and KDHX Benefit at Off Broadway.

Twelve bands and artists from the St. Louis area will perform the songs of John Hartford all night, with proceeds benefiting 88.1 KDHX.

This tribute essay writing service will have two shows: An early, seated show 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and a late show 10 p.m.-12:30 a.m.

Admission is $12 for the early, seated show. $10 for the late, standing room-only show. A pass for both shows costs $15.

Six bands will perform at the early show and six different bands will perform at the late show. Each show will be completely different!

Update: Early show is sold out! Tickets are still available for late show at 10 p.m. Buy now!
