The Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University presents "Understanding Cities," a lecture by David van der Leer. Drawing from his experience as head of the curatorial team at the BMW Guggenheim Lab and director of the Van Alen Institute, van der Leer will discuss urban design, art and architecture as it relates to the urban environment.
