13th Annual Ste. Genevieve Plein Air Painting Competition Show and Sale

$3,000 in awards and prize money draw professional and amateur artists from around Missouri and neighboring states, producing dozens of beautiful landscapes by painting outdoors, or as the French call it "en plein air".  Registration and competition begins on Wednesday and a special timed painting event runs from 11am to 4pm on Saturday in historic downtown.  You can vote for your favorite painting Saturday evening, and the winning artist receives a $200 People's Choice award.  Sponsored by the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild with financial support from the Ste. Genevieve County Community Foundation and generous private donors.  Free and open to the public.
