Festa Junina: A Brazilian Folk Festival

Viva Brasil STL invites everyone to join us this year at our 5th Annual Festa Junina celebration on June 24th from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Kirkwood Community Center 111 S Geyer Rd. 63122. Festa Junina takes place in June and marks the end of the summer season and the beginning of the Brazilian winter. Brazilians honor rain, the harvest season and martial union during this time. People dress up like farmers, enjoy bonfires, dance the quadrilha/square dancing, and enjoy traditional Brazilian food. Come join just for our 5th Annual Festa Junina celebration! All ages are welcome.
