35th Annual Weavers' Guild Sale

The 35th Annual Weavers’ Guild Sale is a juried sale featuring talented artists working in many fiber techniques. Artwork includes one-of-a-kind garments, accessories & jewelry, fiber sculpture, handwoven kitchen towels, placemats, baskets, rugs and unique holiday ornaments. Beautiful handspun and hand-dyed yarns are a special treat for knitters and weavers. The event features demonstrations of weaving and spinning, as well as various other fiber-related techniques. Proceeds fund educational scholarships in the fiber arts. Admission is FREE.

Weaving is an ancient artform that is currently experiencing a return to popularity!  Many are drawn to its therapeutic qualities, its accessibility to new artists and the endless avenues of exploration! The Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis recently celebrated their 90th anniversary in 2016 with the distinction of being the second oldest such guild in the nation.  The artists of the guild continue to uphold the highest standards of excellence in design and craftsmanship as set by their founders.
