Arts & Literary Festival

The Foundry Art Centre and the St. Charles City County Library Foundation proudly present the first annual Arts and Literary Festival, celebrating the intersection of the arts and literacy! This free festival will feature regional authors, poets, and book illustrators, as well as local artists, vendors, and musicians in the Grand Hall of the Foundry Art Centre from 10am – 5pm on Saturday, August 26, 2017. If you enjoy reading, artwork, poetry, or anything to do with the written word, you’ll want to spend the whole day at the Arts and Literary Festival! The speaking engagements, vendors, and music are appropriate for all ages to enjoy.

The City of St. Charles has generously donated the use of the neighborhood trolley and a very special guest, Daniel Tiger, will be visiting the festival! Tickets for the Daniel Tiger Trolley Experience are free but limited to 3 tickets per family. Children must be between the ages of 2 and 5. Please visit www.foundryartcentre.org/2017-litfest for time slots. For ticket availability, visit the Foundry Art Centre between July 22 and August 25 to register you and your kids for this awesome ride around the neighborhood!
