John Gardner Open House and Free Screening of “Sunlight Man”

Gardner, author of “Grendel” and other bestselling novels, died in a motorcycle accident at age 49 in 1982. The documentary “Sunlight Man” chronicles Gardner’s life from the viewpoint of his filmmaker son, Joel.
Before the screening, guests are invited to John M. Olin Library to see materials from Gardner’s work on view in Special Collections.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Joel Gardner.
