The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Returning to St. Andrews Cinema after nearly two decades, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" is back to bi-weekly showings! Eager to return? Great! We can't wait to have you! Never seen it? Throw on your mother's high heels and fishnets, 'cause you're in for a treat!

The longest-running midnight movie of all time stars Tim Curry as the kinky yet endearing “transsexual from Transylvania” Dr. Frank N. Furter, Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick as his hapless guests Brad and Janet, Meat Loaf as motorcycle-riding rough trade and author Richard O’Brien as the hunchbacked butler Riff Raff. It’s harmless musical fun—a delightful spoof of Hollywood horror movies and Old Dark House melodramas. Become a part of the movie by shouting out lines with the cast as well as throwing props to mock the action on screen. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the first—and is still the best—interactive movie experience!

Dressing up is HIGHLY encouraged! Rocky Horror isn't Rocky Horror without the corsets and lipstick. Prop bags will be for sale at the door (no outside props will be allowed into the theatre!). Prop bags include rice, a balloon, newspaper, a latex glove, noise maker, roll of toilet paper, a party hat, and a playing card. Prop bags cost $3.00. As well as prop bags, we will have bumper stickers and t-shirts priced at $5.00 and $15.00, respectively.

Due to the cinema's ticketing process, tickets can only be purchased in-person at the box office starting the Wednesday before the show (August 16th). Seating is first come/first served, so be there early! Doors open around 10:55 pm, movie starts at 12:00AM (midnight), and the event usually lets out around 1:30AM.
