Frederick Douglass Living History Program
Join Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site for three evenings of dramatic first person interpretation exploring the themes of slavery, Reconstruction, and African American efforts to secure freedom and civil rights. These free programs will be held outdoors, under a tent, on the park grounds. Chairs will be provided.
The one-hour programs begin at 6:30 pm. No reservations needed.
Wednesday, September 19 --- Frederick Douglass by Charles Pace
Thursday, September 20 – Martin Luther King Jr. by Stephon Ferguson
Friday, September 21 – Harriet Tubman by Kathryn Harris
