Concreteslim

Concreteslim is an uncommonly talented performer whose sound bridges the gaps between the intimacy of folk and the melodies of Americana. His music comes from a very special and personal place; from a need to share feelings, hopes, dreams and passions with the audience, in the tradition of the greatest storyteller. Concreteslim is a genuine person with actual problems and hardships, but he has found strength and hope through music, and he is on a quest to share his vision with the same passion and enthusiasm even 40 years into being a songwriter.

This talented composer has created diverse and kaleidoscopic work that borrows from artists the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, or Neil Young, combining the lush textures of acoustic music with the melancholic ambiance of folk.

One of the most striking feature of his music is definitely the way the artist set out to blend in-depth musical textures with personal, yet relatable lyrics that speak to the mind and soul of a vast audience. The combination of excellent musicianship, elegant music arrangements, and direct flow allow Concreteslim, who earned his nickname during his time with the Army, to remain relevant in the eyes and ears of a very diverse crowd, with a sound that appeals to both fans of blues, acoustic melodies, and classic folk. Although his songs are extremely appealing and easy to relate to, Concreteslim is not simply trying to entertain his audience, but to create a deeper connection. Making quality music is not just about trying to create appealing tracks and great melodies, but it is firstly about actively pursuing the fine craft of creating songs that are more than just plain entertainment; a powerful way to share his stories, ideas and experiences is through music. With such premises, it is easy to understand why his songs weave an intricate plot of melodies, lyrics and soundscapes that highlight his versatile and creative approach as a performer and songwriter.
