Jocelyn Cullity to read debut novel ‘Amah and the Silk-Winged Pigeons’ at SCC March 22
Jocelyn Cullity, assistant professor of English and director of the B.F.A. in creative writing program at Truman State University, will do a public reading of her debut novel, Amah and the Silk-Winged Pigeons, followed by a Q&A and book signing at St. Charles Community College. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in the Private Dining Room in the Student Center on the SCC campus.
Amah and the Silk-Winged Pigeons is based on a true story and highlights the lost history of the women who fought against the English in 19th-century India.
Parking for patrons is free and available in the Green Parking Lot, which is accessible through SCC’s South entrance.
