University City Memorial Day Run

43rd ANNUAL UNIVERSITY CITY MEMORIAL DAY RUN

  A St. Louis tradition, the University City Memorial Day Run is one of the oldest races in the area. The 43rd annual event will be held on Monday, May 29, with 5K and 10K races starting concurrently at 7:30AM near the University City Public Library, 6701 Delmar. 5K and 10K races will be officially scored with chip timing by Big River Race Management. A one mile Fun Run is open to children and their parents and begins at 9:20AM. Complete information, including course maps, registration information, and photos and results from past years' events are available at www.ucitymemorialdayrun.com. Awards are given to 5K and 10K overall winners and top finishers in five-year age groups. Also awarded, the Mary Fahey and Jack Frohlichstein Awards to the first female and first male finisher over 50 in the 5K event. Each child in the Fun Run will receive a ribbon. Proceeds benefit the Green Center, U City in Bloom, and the University City Public Library
