Skills you’ll learn:

sawing, drilling, sanding, adding walnut stain or wood wax finish

Display your tiny collectibles, air plants, or small trinkets on a DIY triangle shelf. A great project for beginner woodworkers, these shelves are simple to make with the right tools. Using the chop (or miter) saw, the class will cut their wood to desired lengths as well as make angled cuts. Participants will use a pneumatic nail gun to assemble their shelf. Pieces can be sanded then finished with either Perennial’s homemade walnut stain or wood wax. The class will also discuss the proper method to hang your shelf depending on your wall type. Learn to identify plaster walls vs. drywall and the proper fasteners needed to hang work safely and level.
