Poetry at the Point - July 24 with Loosely Identified

POETRY AT THE POINT on July 24 will feature feature poets from the women’s poetry collective Loosely Identified. Poetry at the Point is held at THE FOCAL POINT in Maplewood on the 4th Tuesday of the month. This reading series invites local and regional poets, and established and up-and-coming poets to share their words. The event is free.

Loosely Identified is a feminist women's writing collective whose history in St. Louis goes back some 40 years. More than eighty women have participated in the group over the years, joining our monthly writing workshops, our poetry readings, supporting each other when members engage in political or art events, and in the publication of a poetry anthology.

This reading will include poets Maria T. Balogh, Mary Ruth Donnelly, Grace duMaine, Rebecca Ellis, gaye gambell-peterson, Andrea Jackson, Marlene Schuman, and Wanita Zumbrunnen.
