Diesel Island is back at Joe's Cafe!

Diesel Island is back at Joe's in 2018! After 2017 was such a smashing success with people dancing in the isles and having such a great time, we couldn't resist but to bring them back. And we are pretty sure the band loved it too! (If the band is happy, everyone is happy!) See below for how this band got started. DI at Joe's is one hell of a good time! Come see some of the best musicians in town have a great time playing country, rock and traditional folk. It's a party!

Diesel Island formed in 2004 as a just-for-fun side project where key members of the Bottle Rockets could relax and play some classic country faves on their own terms. Since then, the band has performed countless gigs in various clubs, bars, wedding halls, funeral parlors and divorce courts across the St Louis region. 

The band is Brian Henneman, Kip Loui, Richard Tralles, Carl Pandolfi and Spencer Marquart. Sometimes a little help from their friends..... Mark Spencer, Tim McAvin, Marc Chechik, Joe Meyer, Mark Ortmann, John Horton and a dozen others depending on the show. Think Waylon, Willie and Merle as a base and you're on the right track.

Normal Joe's rules. $10 cash cover, no ATM. Bring your own food and drink; only popcorn, soda and water for sale. Don't park on Kingsbury or the neighbors get upset. Please park on Des Peres or in the high school parking lot up the street. Talking and smoking outside only. Joe's is a listening room that respects the musicians while they play. Doors 7, show 8. No saving tables.
