James Carter with the Peter Martin Trio

Acclaimed saxophonist James Carter returns with the Peter Martin Trio, performing the modern, evocative jazz for which Carter has become known. With powerful solos rooted in tradition, Carter takes listeners on musical excursions that include funk, fusion, rock and soul. The program will open with an opening set by The Sheldon’s own North County Big Band, led by Harvey Lockhart.
