Sentimental Journey Dance Band Concert

Come dance, swing, and listen to the Sentimental Journey Dance Band at the Foundry Art Centre on Friday, October 20 at 7:00pm! Directed by Dr. Russ Dieterich, the Band has gained a reputation as one of the best big bands in the Midwest. Featuring a tight ensemble sound and a spirit of musical family fun rare in big bands today, the Sentimental Journey Dance Band has been pleasing dancing and listening audiences for over 30 years. Whether you are ballroom dancing to a wide variety of tempos, reminiscing to old standards like "Stardust", romancing to warm ballads such as "Unforgettable", swinging to "Jump, Jive and Wail" and "In The Mood", or just listening to big band favorites such as Dream, the Band lives up to its moniker: “Music from the 40’s to the Present”. Cash bar available at the concert and outside food is permitted. Tickets are on sale now for $25 per person or only $20 for Foundry Art Centre members; assigned seating with table purchases only (tables of 8-10), otherwise general admission.
