The audience has spoken! The 2012 International Documentary Challenge Audience Award which is determined by online voting has been announced.

The audience award joins several other awards which were presented last month at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival following a screening of top films.

 

The Audience Award goes to Sound of Vision by team 20Coop from New York, New York, USA. Sound of Vision explores one man's journey to belong as he confronts the hurdles, and embraces the beauty, of the city he will never see. Congratulations to Team 20Coop! Sound of Vision also took home the Best Film award and the POV Award.
