Registration for the St. Louis 48 Hour Film Project is now open. The 48HFP is a fun timed filmmaking competition where filmmakers from around St. Louis will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, produce, and edit a short film which will screen at the Tivoli Theatre.

The competition takes places June 3-5, 2011. Screenings will be held at the Tivoli Theatre June 7-9 with the Best of St. Louis screening taking place Thursday, June 16.

Head over to the 48 Hour Film Project St. Louis site to register. Registration is capped at 72 teams and does fill up fast so be sure to register soon!

Overall, 98 cities will host the 48 Hour Film Project this year with the winning film from each city screening at the 48HFP's Filmapalooza the following year.
