We're Wolf formed in the winter of 2008 and are currently working on a debut album. Echoing the likes of Freakwater and Kimya Dawson, the young Saint Louis group makes a virtue out of naivete with childlike harmonies and gossamer guitar strums, with intermittent rustles of percussion and plinks of a xylophone. Their cover of the White Stripes' "Effect & Cause" is twee heaven, while their original song "Seasons Will Change You" captures the poetry of what it's like to be a teenage girl in love. We're Wolf performs regularly at the Hartford Coffee House open mic.
