In 2003, the group released its first album, Searching For a Melody; six years later they've found it with Come and Get It. Led by Obi "Day 19" Fernandez's gutsy soul growl and trombone riffs, the band members (featuring Rich Graiko on trumpet, Luke Penella on saxophone, Gideon Blumenthal on organ, John DeCarlo on guitar, Thaddeus Merrit on bass and Eric Novod on drums) have matured quickly, especially in their songwriting and steady rocking arrangements. Westbound Train performed at the Verizon Wireless Ampitheater on August 3, 2009.
