Hailing from Sweden, Alberta Cross summons the epic and ambitious sounds of their American and British rock 'n' roll forebears, overlaying them with lyrics of striking personality and insight.

Alberta Cross is the duo of Petter Ericson Stakee (guitar and vocals) and Terry Wolfers (bass), though out of necessity the two tour with a fleshed-out ensemble that adds drums, keys and an additional guitar to effectively reproduce the heavy, multi-colored sound of their recordings. The band recently released "Songs of Patience," it's first record in 3 years, of which Stakee noted, "It's my proudest work yet." The four songs in the session all originate on that record, and they all resonate with the disarming and overwhelming sense that music can simultaneously make apparent and alleviate the acute struggles and pain of daily life.
