Heading into their second decade of music and mayhem, the Spankers have been widening their audience with a children's album -- "Mommy Says No!" -- and an anti-war video for "Stick Magnetic Ribbons on Your SUV," which has received over half a million YouTube views. Over the years, the band has featured over 30 different Austin musicians and has been known to cover a wide range of artists including Prince, Tom Waits, the Beastie Boys, Bessie Smith, the Jazz Butcher and the Violent Femmes, just for starters.
