About this Media...

  • Date Recorded: February 22, 2011
  • Artist / Band: Babaloo
  • Hosting Show: Musical Merry-Go-Round
  • Sound: Jon Valley
  • Video: Ed Kleinberg

Equal parts sugary charm and out-control-wackiness, Babaloo has become one of the most in-demand kids performers in St. Louis.

With a knack for understanding (and never condescending to) kids' emotions, concerns and love of scatological humor, Babaloo writes hummable, danceable pop folk. For this special session on the Musical Merry-Go-Round, Babaloo is joined by his daughter Cori for a playful duet "Little Baby Girl," the revved-up freak out "I Saw My Teacher In the Grocery Store" and the self-explanatory hit "The Wee Wee Dance."
