Robert Turner, Peter Hayes and Nick Jago formed B.R.M.C. in 1998 in California. The band's celebrated self-titled debut put them in the hot company of the Dandy Warhols and Oasis, though their raw, loud sound owed as much to the first British invasion as the second. On 2010's Beat the Devil's Tattoo, they effortlessly combine their love of Americana-friendly acoustic blues with their enduring fascination with aggressive psych-fuzz.
