From the New England folk scene, Paul has grown from a young open-mic singer to a veteran acoustic success, with 16 albums and numerous accolades behind him. His most recent release, The Day After Everything Changed, came out at the beginning of 2010, and he doesn’t seem to be slowing down. There is something ancient being channeled through him, and the inspiration he draws from the likes of Woody Guthrie cannot be overstated. But Paul doesn’t look back or revisit. He wants to keep building bridges, toeing that line between poetic art and popular connection, lending contemporary society the wisdom and honesty that great singer-songwriters have for years past.
