One of the world's foremost Celtic bands, Gaelic Storm was founded in Southern California and contains only one Irishman. But that doesn't dampen their ability to summon the emerald spirits.

Throughout a decade and a half, Gaelic Storm has brought traditional sounds to an ever-widening audience. The group features Irishman Patrick Murphy on accordion and lead vocals; Englishman Steve Twigger on guitar, mandolin and lead vocals; American Ryan Lacey on percussion and vocals; Canadian Pete Purvis on bagpipes; and Englishwoman Jessie Burns on fiddle and vocals.

In July 2012, Gaelic Storm released its ninth album, "Chicken Boxer," which debuted at #1 on the Billboard World Chart. But this success was not new to the band. Their records have often charted well, and the last three have reached the top position. Though representing a mishmash of nationalities, Gaelic Storm has coalesced around a common love, and their passion is resonating with music fans the world over.
