Summer Nights, the new album by Ian McFeron, leaves an impression upon the soul, with the resonating sounds of the acoustic guitar. McFeron is a Seattle-based, independent folk artist who has experienced much success with his sixth album. Summer Nights was mixed and recorded in ten days with guitarist Doug Lancio overseeing the production.
Along with Lancio, McFeron’s strategic music collaborations include Ryan Adams, Brad Pemberton, Billy Mercer and Micah Hulscher. Also, Alisa Milner infuses the sounds of the fiddle throughout the album, which aids in the album’s attempt, as his official biography puts it, "to invoke the spirits of people and places lost to the past" and ultimately to find "acceptance."
