A tried and true veteran on the St. Louis music scene, Javier Mendoza still believes in the power of Latin pop.

Even when stripped back to an acoustic duo setting – as on this Live at KDHX session – Mendoza demonstrates why he's garnered the attention of MTV, won just about every music award in town and maintained the wherewithal to release over ten records in as many years. His pop sound is as spiritual as it is rooted in Latin culture and flair.
