With the voice of a pop diva, a band of crackerjack players and a songwriting style filled with wit and detailed images, Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights have been turing on kids from coast to coast.

A student of musical theatre, the New York native brings a sense of comic timing and sing-along tunefulness to her original material -- especially on the creature-filled songs that make up "What a Zoo!," her most recent release. This Live at KDHX session features Leeds and her band giving those songs a warm, friendly glow.
