Kinky Friedman: Live at KDHX 12/2/11 by KDHX

Starting with his first recordings in the early '70s, Friedman was politically incorrect before political incorrectness was cool and the culture wars were little more than a barroom scuffle. He's gone on to write many a beloved detective novel and run, unsuccessfully, as an independent candidate for governor in Texas. Over the decades, he's remained a dedicated animal rights advocate and a hilarious critic of political and religious fundamentalism.
